Hi everyone!

Hope you had a wonderful New Year and are enjoying 2021 so far! Things don't seem too different on this side of midnight, but there certainly is a powerful sense of hope in the air... Lots to look forward to! Not the least of which (for us) is a strong finish to this campaign on Thursday!

Less than 70 hours to go!

We're sooooo close to unlocking the LOVE cloisonné pin - seems we've been dancing back and forth towards that goal line all day today! A few people join and then somebody backs out.. that elusive dance... but we're pretty sure we'll get there (hopefully tomorrow?) so that we can reveal the next goal! It's not too unbelievable that we could unlock that one before Thursday too... keep spreading the word and everyone wins! :)

New Bonus Stretch Goal! And LITTLE TAILS trailer video!

Hey everyone!

You did it! We broke the $48k stretch goal target this morning and unlocked the (faux-)leather patch that everyone (*at a physical tier) will get for FREE!

These are going to be really nice -- big enough to be a decent drink coaster or large bookmark or put it on your Explorer's jacket or ruck sack!

So what's up next?

LOVE (logo) CLOISONNE PIN!

Like the Chipper & Squizzo pins, these enamel pins will be really nice and eyecatching. And like the other goals, each physical reward tier will get one FOR FREE.

We've been sharing a lot about the LOVE series and BRINDILLE throughout the campaign, but we really want to shine a spotlight on Fred and Fed's other wilderness series, LITTLE TAILS with Chipper & Squizzo.

Chipper and Squizzo are a precocious puppy and squirrel who love to explore new and exciting environments, flying their cardboard box airplane to wondrous worlds full of fascinating animals and creatures.  In each volume of this fun, educational series, they tour a different location, encountering the real-world animals found there in beautiful illustration and fun cartoon strip antics!

LITTLE TAILS is a series of graphic novels created for young readers by Eisner Award-nominated illustrator Federico Bertolucci and writer Frédéric Brrémaud, creators of the world-famous, multi-award winning LOVE series of silent, wildlife graphic novels.

The six book series has won over kids around the world, in several different languages! It is frequently the (unofficial) Most Requested Bedtime Story among kids 3-6! You can find some great preview, samples, and information at the LITTLE TAILS website.

We're looking forward to the next book in the series sometime soon, now that Fred and Fed have finished THE MASTIFF! There's no telling what environment they'll explore this time, but we can't wait to find out!

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (if you celebrate Christmas - if you don't, we hope you had a fantastic Friday)! Ours was very chill and relaxing, spent in our pajamas most of the day. It was a chance to put "work" aside and do some fun stuff for ourselves:  playing video games, diving into some Quest VR, and polishing up the last musical track on the ASTER OF PAN soundtrack. There's nothing like taking a day off for some creative refueling indoors (especially when it is literally 12^f outside)!

Okay, we did spend a little time "working" on this campaign, admittedly... but it didn't take too long, and we did it for you (and Fred and Fed)! Specifically, we posted a Gallery Spotlight on Federico Bertolucci on the Magnetic Press website, featuring a couple dozen older pieces of work from his portfolio and a time-lapse video of him in the process of creating a couple panels from MASTIFF:

We also thought it might be a nice opportunity to re-share an older interview with Frederic and Federico from a few years ago talking about the LOVE series following the success of TIGER and FOX leading up to the release of LION (which went on to earn two Eisner nominations):

We also published that same interview in issue #5 of our monthly Ambassadors Club eZine,which included tons of galleries, interviews, previews, creative activities, and eye-candy every month for almost a full year (before Magnetic was acquired by Lion Forge, at which point, the club and zine went on hiatus... something we're hoping to bring back in 2021...)

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. We're celebrating Christmas Eve ourselves, and wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for all of your wonderful and heartfelt support this year. We couldn't have done it without you, and it warms us to know that you folks are out there with as much interest in these wonderful authors and artists as we have.

The image is from LOVE: THE FOX, a thrilling and heartwarming adventure set in a rather winter-y (thus holiday-like) setting... despite the, um... volcano eruption. 

As a Christmas Eve gift, here's an extended set of preview pages from that book (which is available as a standalone add on or as part of the LOVE Box set). Enjoy!

This book won the Gold Medal for Best Graphic Novel from the Independent Publishers Awards as well as numerous other nominations. It's a real roller coaster of feels right up to the end. We won't spoil it for you, but there's a good reason the fox is running towards the fire. :)
