Hi everyone!
A quick update to say that, as promised, we have initiated the lock on all order addresses. Backerkit will send one last notification, and then lock whatever address you've entered as final in 48 hours. So if you think you'll be somewhere other than the address you entered in early July, update it now!
But here's the really exciting news to kick off the weekend:
PRE-REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR OUR NEXT CAMPAIGN LAUNCHING ON TUESDAY!
We are launching a new campaign for not one but TWO jaw-droppingly gorgeous sci-fi graphic novels by one of the most stellar talents today, Mathieu Bablet. His sci-fi epic SHANGRI-LA won the Fauve d'Or at the Angouleme festival in 2017, and he followed that up with the recent (and even more epic) CARBON & SILICON which was chosen by mega-store chain FNAC as the Best Graphic Novel of 2020!

Hey everyone!
Just a quick update to say that a) we will be locking addresses THIS FRIDAY! For real this time! There are still 5 of you who haven't completed your orders so please do so by then!
Also, b) We are only waiting on the last 2 items to arrive, but they are shipping together from Italy as we speak: the signed bookplates and original sketches from Federico Bertolucci. It took a little extra time for him to complete all of the work while dealing with family and other pandemic demands, but he sent us a sneak peek at the finished pieces and they are WORTH THE WAIT!
According to FedEx, they've just left Europe for the US, so we expect them sometime this week.
We'll then get everything packaged and coordinated with Quartermaster Logistics so that they can start shipping out final orders in June!
Just in time, too... that'll clear some room on the stage for the next amazing campaign that we'll be announcing later this week!
(A sneak peek...? sure...)

Hi everyone!
Just a quick status update: We're just waiting on 2 more things (one being the ex-libris bookplates and sketches from Federico) and then we will be ready to get everything ready for Quartermaster to start shipping at the end of the month. We have already started coordinating all of the items and order data already received, but we're giving you just two more weeks to update your address to where you want to receive your package in June!
We are locking addresses on May 7th!
44 of you have not answered your surveys yet, and we really need to ship everything at once. Any late orders, especially international orders, can get VERY EXPENSIVE! So please answer your surveys before we lock addresses!

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all ending a great week and getting ready for an awesome weekend!
You may have gotten an email notification from Backerkit today letting you know that we are locking orders in 48hours -- please make any final adjustments to your orders by Sunday! (And if you haven't filled out your survey yet, please sign in at brindille.backerkit.com and do so! We need your information to finalize item counts in preparation for fulfillment next month! If you don't fill out your survey, we can't send you your stuff!)
We are hoping to have everything in hand the first week of May, so fulfillment should be right on track for next month. Federico has been working on the original drawings (while also dealing with some sick family members... Covid knows no deadlines... they're doing fine, but please send good thoughts and prayers his way). He says those sketches and the signed bookplates will be on their way shortly!
We also closed the Campaign Feedback survey -- thank you! Lots of great comments and suggestions. These are always a great help in getting our next campaigns to be even better.
We added the $.50 credit to the Backerkit account of each person who replied. You should see that reflected in your balance due when confirming your order. (If for some reason you had other credit applied to your account, and you think there might be an error, please let us know right away! We're happy to fix anything in error, but need you to confirm for us.)
Oh, and as a side note: congrats to Kathryn Mergener, the randomly selected winner of the $25 Amazon Gift Card drawing! See? It really DOES pay to speak your mind when given an opportunity... ;)
